Often we stayed over night at each others home for pajama parties. Later in life, we wondered how our mothers put up with those late hours. After I moved from Minnesota, I visited her in Burnsville, with my sister, Carol, when ever possible. I always looked forward to those visits. While I was living in Massachusetts, she visited me and what fun we had as I showed her Boston, Concord and Lexington. In July of 2006 I had a chance to see her again which, as I know now, would be my last earthly visit with her. Farewell my friend. As I always say, "see you later"

When she wasn't forwarding me something I became worried of her condition. I will miss her as a freind and a classmate and our telephone chats . Karen had an elephant collection of every size and shape that I admired and the last time I was there we counted them and there were 63. As before, whenever I see an elephant I will think of Karen. She commented that her house cleaner was glad that some of them were under glass. I have enjoyed the pictures of all of her genealogy and history. What a great Obituary Web Site. Her long research paid off. Much Love & Sympathy to you Jeff, Michelle and Michael.. You will be in my thoughts . Love, Carol
